Make Punjabi dal fry at home just like a hotel ingredients:-
1: - 1/2 cup tuvar dal
2: - 1/2 cup chana dal
3: -1/2 cup lentil dal
4: - 1/2 cup mugni dal
5: - 1/2 cup urad dal
6: - 2 tables Spoon ghee or butter
7: - pinch asafoetida
8: - 1 tsp cumin
9: - 4 finely chopped onion
10: - 10 cloves garlic
11: - small piece ginger
12: - 5 green chillies
13: - 4 tomatoes
14: - 1 15 tsp Chilli
15: - 1 tsp Coriander
16: - 1 tsp Garam Masala
17: - 1 tsp Cinnamon-Clove Powder
18: - 50 gm Butter (to top)
19: - Salt Proportionately
Make Punjabi dal fry at home just like a hotel method:-
Wash five lentils and put them in a cooker. Do not stir after cooling.
Put ghee or butter in a pan on gas, add asafoetida, cumin seeds and fry onion.
Add garlic, ginger, chilli paste and saute.
Put tomato pulp in it. Adding boiled lentils.
Add salt, chilli, coriander, hot spices, cinnamon and cloves. Finally pour the butter and turn off the gas.
Note :-
Variation :-
200 gms of Tuvar dal, 50 gms of Chana dal and all other ingredients.
Heat ghee-oil in a pan over medium heat, add cumin, cloves, rye, bay leaf, sweet neem, asafoetida, whole red chillies and onion and saute.
Add salt and turmeric to the lentils and boil in a cooker.
Finally add Kasuri methi.
Note:
Do not take lentils, mugni and adad dal.
